Syllabus

CLASS 1

GETTING TO KNOW YOUR BODY

To understand what your period is, you have to understand how your insides work. With the illustration you will receive in the mail and through this video our period expert will walk you through all of the details slowly, step by step.

CLASS 2

WHAT TO EXPECT WITH YOUR FIRST PERIOD

Most tweens want to know when their period will start. Unfortunately, there’s no way to know the exact day in advance, but you can pay attention to the signs and know when to get ready. We will show you how in this class.

CLASS 3

DO PERIODS HURT?

No, in fact your tween probably won’t feel a thing, but they may experience cramps, which can hurt a lot. What are cramps and why do they hurt? What can I do to help my tween? We tackle all of these questions and many more in this class.

Class 4

HOW DO YOU PUT ON A PAD?

Pads are the go-to products for most tweens, and while pads are pretty easy to use, there are a few do’s and don’ts to avoid accidents and embarrassing situations. We cover that in this class.

Class 4B

REUSABLE PADS AND OTHER OPTIONS

There are many options for period care now, let us show you and talk to you about many of them here: reusable pads, menstrual cups, etc. There’s no better way to help your tween make the best choice for their body.

Class 5

HOW TO USE A TAMPON

Tampons are a super convenient and easy way to manage your flow. Don’t let them intimidate you. This class will demonstrate how to make using them easier.

Class 6

PERIOD SYMPTOMS AND ACCIDENTS

Are you or your tween concerned about the possibility of accidents with their period? The easiest way to avoid them is with preparation, this class will help you get tuned into your body and stay prepared.

Class 7

PREDICTING YOUR PERIOD

While we can’t see into the future, we can empower ourselves, and use tools to predict when our period will come. Use this class to learn more about using a period calendar and listening to your body to be better prepared.
